This mod adds a new-ish class by making sentry weapons their own damage type. New weapons, armors, accessories, and two potions are added. Current version is supported up to the end of hardmode with custom items. Since this is an alpha, much is subjected to change and there are plenty of known issues. This mod is open source. In general this mod covers...

- New class, the Defender, that deals Sentry damage.
- Plenty of new weapons.
- Four new armor sets and seven hardmode ore helmets.
- Some new accessories.
- Sentries require line of sight to place. A late game accessory or setting can bypass this.
- This mod's sentries can be used for the DD2 event at the cost of Etherian Mana after the turret slot limit is reached.
- Sentries last for 24 real life hours.
- HUD displays max number of sentries if it is greater than one (can be changed in config).
- A buff gets added if any sentries are out, which can be canceled to remove all sentries.

Vanilla changes related to sentries have been done...

- All vanilla turrets now scale from sentry damage.
- Crimson Rod, Nimbus Rod, and Clinger Staff now scale from sentry damage instead of magic damage and obeys the player's max sentries limit.
- DD2 armors and accessories now boost sentry damage instead of summon damage.
- Buffed Frost Hydra to penetrate unlimited times and cause Frostburn on hit.
- DD2 turrets can be used before defeating the Old One's Army for the first time. This had to be done due to hardcoding to be able to freely use this mod's sentires.
- Tier 2 and 3 DD2 helmets additional increases sentry limit by one.
- Tier 3 DD2 armor set bonuses additional increases sentry limit by one.
- All vanilla sentry weapons now have auto reuse.
- Engineering Helmet is no longer vanity, but now an armor piece that provides some stats.

Known Issues because I either can code it better or can't due to hardcoding...

- Some of my older projectile sprites are still in, looking poor next to the resprites.
- Water Tornado sometimes doesn't behave properly, causing parts of it to remain while others are missing.
- Due to how I had to attempt to remove any summon damage bonuses from sentry weapons, there might be rounding errors which mean summon damage bonuses alone might have a minute effect on sentry weapon damage, usually amounting to one less damage.
- DD2 accessories gives turret slot and minion damage bonus based on accessory slot it's equipped in. This happens even with no mods enabled so it might be a tModLoader issue. I've attempted to fix this, but it won't work correctly if you decide to equip more than one DD2 accessory at once, use extra accessory slots through Cheat Sheet, or have the Antisocial mod enabled.
- Sometimes during the DD2 event, attempting to place sentries might end up wasting Etherian Mana without actually placing the sentry.
- The wrong player may be given credit for kills done by another player's sentries. It's been a while since I was able to test this, so it may or may not be true anymore.
- The Taboo Trap's Sandnado currently lacks the full visual effects of vanilla Sandnados till I figure out how to code it correctly.
- Cross mod end game armors added don't yet have all the features of their respective armors. For JoostMod, no special key press ability yet. For Shadows of Abaddon, one of the helmets is crafted instead of brought from a NPC since I have yet to code adding the item to the shop properly with custom currency. For Spirit Mod, sentries don't get an on hit benefit yet.
- Betsy Turret may not reach far away targets if the player has increased sentry range. The vanilla code I've used I had much trouble attempting to make work properly.
- Reworked gem layers have a visual effect to aid in placing them within range, but this effect doesn't stay if the item is used outside the hotbar.

Future Plans...

- More weapons.
- Cross mod support to add new sentries and items to fit within the themes of the mods.
- Better balancing.
- Bugfixes.

Change Log...

- 0.984: Fixed issue where having greater than 100% summon damage would cause sentries to have 1 less damage.
- Updated handling of Thorium Mod mod calls.
- Fixed UFO Deathray not being set to place floating properly.
- Engineering armor set bonus no longer gives unlimited mana usage for sentries, but Expanded Sentries floating turrets.
- Renamed Gritharvollr to Gridarvol.
- Added Pulsar Potion, for cross More Potions support. Also added upgradable Luiafk unlimited items to go with the new potion.
- Pulsar Jetpack can now allow flying up faster by holding up like the vanilla Jetpack.
- Pulsar Drill lowered to a tile boost of 2 to be more in line with 1.4 vanilla lunar drills.
- Lunar Portal Staff and Rainbow Crystal Staff now have double

Hardmode Weapons

This mods adds weapons, which can be crafted in hardmode. All weapons are balanced to weapons from the Thorium mod, which can be aquired at about the same time as these. No modifiers are equipped to boost the damage for the DPS values listed.

Weapons:

Deathfire (bow, ranged) (~150 DPS against single target)
Shoots a straight flying projectile, which bounces from tiles. It is followed by two homing fire balls, which can travel through walls. All of the projectiles inflict the On Fire debuff.
Craft using Mythril Anvil:
-Lava Buckets x2
-Hellstone Bar x18
-Souls of Light x8

Vindication (Revolver, ranged)
This weapon is basically from the great book series placed in the world of "Mistborn". You can switch between different bullet types using right click. It will make the sound of full mana and give a particle effect to indicate which bullet type is equiped.
Bullet types:
-Standard: Does not consume Ammo (though at least one bullet of some sort is needed in the invent) (~180 DPS)
-Thug: Has increased damage and heavy knockback (~250 DPS)
-Tineye: deceased damage but highly increased attack speed (~250 DPS) (A louder boom wouldn't have done much ;) )
-Bloodmaker: Shoots a cursed bullet regardless of ammo used (~180 DPS + cursed flaming debuff)
-Lurcher: Shoots a metal bullet incased in ceramic. Metal is homing, ceramic flies straight (~260 DPS)
Craft using Mythril Anvil:
-Revolver
-20 Hellstone Bars
-10 Souls of Night

Fire Claw (Claw, melee) (240 DPS against single target. Balanced using Calamity mods mandible Claw)
Extreamly fast short range melee weapon. Shoots fiery claws in the direction the player is facing and creates a shield on the back of the player, which has great knockback. Shield can be toggled using right click.
Craft using Mythril Anvil:
-Obsidian x20
-Lava Bcuket x2
-Soul of Light x8

This mod adds a new class of Weapons, the Battle Rods, which are fishing rods that can attach to enemies (NPCs or Players with PVP enabled) and deliver damage over time. You can also fish with them.
Some rods only apply the damage over time, while others have secondary effects when stuck to the enemy and may have effects when simply lying in liquid.

This mod adds Battle Rods for each of the main tiers, from the weak Wooden Battle Rod to the really powerful Solar, Nebula, Stardust and Vortex Battle Rods.
It also includes several accessories that enhance the fishing class, from multi-lures to cast more than a bobber at once, hooks and metronomes that change your damage over time and fishing wires.

*Details on the Fishing Class*
To start using Battle rods, cast them as you would a normal fishing rod towards the target enemy. When the bob hits, you can wait for the bob to kill the enemy, or you can try and reel in the enemy by clicking and holding the left mouse button. This will either pull the enemy towards you (or you get pulled towards the enemy) or break the line.
Pressing the right mouse button will release the target from your hold, allowing you to recast towards any other enemy.

When choosing a Battle Rod, there are some things to consider:
- Damage is divided equaly between bobbers, so having more bobbers reduces the damage each bobber deals, but you can stick more than one bobber on the same enemy, so the difference is only visible if you manage to attach to multiple enemies.
- The bob time, or the time that passes between each damage being applied. Most early game Rods have 2 second bob times, but late game rods can go as low as 15 in game ticks in the default bob time.
- Tensile strength dictates how fast you and the enemy can be moving apart before reeling in breaks the line.
- Reel speed increase tells you how fast the enemy will go towards you (or you towards the enemy) when reeling in continuously.
- The hidden size multiplier (that usually increases slighty with improving rods) controls how big the enemy you try to reel in will actually come towards you. Enemies bigger than that will drag you towards them.

Fishing damage is calculated based on the biggest stat increase from the vanilla game, so if you are equipped with a 20% ranged increase, and no other damage increases, the rod will be receiving 20% increased damage, and still add all fishing damage buffs you might have.

The Pure Spirit Mod adds one single boss: The Impure Soul.
She can be awoken by using the Essence of Impurity, a drop from Corruption/Crimson and Hallow enemies.
After killing her, you get:
Pre-Hardmode: Purity in a Bottle, used to clear the Corruption/Crimson from your world.
Hardmode: Soul of Purity, the same as Purity in a Bottle, but also clears the Hallow.

NOTE: This is my 1st mod, and I'm not a really good artist, but I put all my effort at this mod :)

Adds a method to locate items in chests easily. Press the hotkey and then start typing to find items in chests.

Make sure to assign the hotkey in the keybindings menu.

To use, simply press the hotkey and start typing a search term. Chests, Banks (Piggy Bank, Safe, Defenders Forge), and Magic Storage Hearts containing items matching the search term will display a quick peek at up to 3 results.

Press tab to restore from history the last search term.

Modding tool which provides a quick way to view dust and sound effects ingame. Craft books with dirt.
Dust: Scroll through listed dust types. Dust is displayed with a scale of 1 and a velocity of 5 in the respective directions. (!) represents dusts that emit light and (.) represents dust that glows or emits very faint light.
Sound: Change both sound effect type and style type. Sound is played at the your location.
See book tooltips for further instructions on use.

NOTE: As of tModLoader 0.9+, sounds are accessed via SoundID - names have been changed to reflect the names given there, where applicable.

Particle 43 - The Shiny Particle

Particle colour and scale appears to influence the intensity and colour of light emitted. The particle doesn't show unless at least one colour value is set to 255.
Initially spawns with light currently available on that tile, meaning it won't appear in darkness (like Mithril Armour's effects).
Usually used with Main.dust[dustIndex].fadeIn with a smaller inital scale, to due to lighting.

Gravity Enabled:
Doesn't slow down, ignores gravity.
Gravity Disabled:
Slows down and disappears faster.
