Or maybe you just really want to make the god of all shortswords? Fear no more! We got you covered! W1K's Weapon Scaling works in a very simple way. Every vanilla weapon (more on mods later) has been given an appropriate tier based on when they are obtained in the game, this system, alongside farmable upgrade items, let you upgrade the weapon of your choice to higher tier, damage scaling as appropriate. To keep it simple, this was done through a lot of math and a funny excel sheet calculating the average DPS increases for each progression tier. The result is a somewhat balanced system of scaling that should keep your weapon of choice comparable or slightly inferior to weapons of the same tier. Now, there's obviously downsides to this. Namely, not all weapons are perfectly balanced on their own. While I have done some individual adjustments myself, I can't try all potential weapon and tier combinations on my own, so I will ask for your comprehension and feedback so that I can keep tweaking the numbers further. You might've noticed I specified vanilla. There is no way for me to determine the right tiers for weapons coming from external mods, HOWEVER, a solution is already in place. Mod authors can specify compatible weapons, tiers and adjust scaling of any weapon through the comfiness of their own mods! This is quick and simple, if not a bit tedious for big mods. An example mod is provided in the related thread on the community forums. I will provide a list of supported mods as well as I am made aware! So that's all! The mod currently offers 2 brand new biomes: The Spooky Forest- A new spooky themed forest biome, with it's own content, new enemies, and loot! The Valley of Eyes- A creepy biome in the underworld themed around eyes, with unique generation, a unique background, and dangerous creatures (the valley of eyes does not have any content or items besides its generation, enemies, and blocks and will be getting fleshed out next update!) IMPORTANT: both biomes are created upon making a new world, so you'll need a new world to fully experience the mod and all of it's content! 2 new bosses: Spooky Spirit, a mischevious spirit that has accidentaly gotten stuck in a giant jack o' lantern Orro-Boro, Two parasitic worms who eat each other in an endless cycle and will work together to fight any threat (there will likely be more bosses in the future as well) This mod also has boss checklist support if you do not know much about the bosses or progression Brand new misc and ambient features: -All bosses will now drop a bunch of goodie bags, only happens if the halloween seasonal event is active (Works for vanilla and modded bosses) -With this mod enabled, the halloween seasonal event will always be active in your world -Brand new spooky mod themed logos on the main menu -Brand new orange colored sky and background tint to really bring the halloween feel to your world (all of these misc/ambient changes are configurable) Thanks to the rest of the spooky devs who helped with the mod! Upgradeable Pickaxes is a Quality of Life Mod that adds new pickaxe recipes and a new pickaxe Obtainable after moonlord,
