Welcome to the Magnumiactus mod!
This is a mod that currently focuses on expanding the throwing and summoning classes, but it will be a much more expansive content mod in the future.
The throwing class gets several sets and pieces of equipment for Hardmode, making a playthrough much easier.
There are non-consumable throwing weapons that consume mana, and you will see more of these the further you progress.
(The throwing items may be rather unbalanced compared to other classes, but I don't believe there's a vanilla standard for Hardmode throwing equipment.)
The summoning class gets some new pre-Plantera weapons (and other items) that may finally make it more viable.
A new NPC can move into town after defeating the Eye of Cthulhu, and his primary purpose is to sell throwing items. He may even sell a new kind of fragment when the time arises...
There are also additions for other classes, such as the new Lance weapon type for the Melee class.

One last thing: If you are seeing this mod (and this last part) on the Mod Browser for 1.3, note that this version is basically just what we had completed before 1.4 became the main version and not a beta.
This update of the mod isn't exactly finished, but it may at least show a noticeable improvement over 0.2.3 or 0.2.x in general.
Still, we would like to welcome to 0.3.x, the third major version of Magnumiactus.
Notable changes include some changes to Kelbi AI, the addition of Dungeon-tier Shorebrass Bars, a new weapon tree for Lances, and a Guard mechanic with Shields.
Note that none of these are particularly finished yet, so if anything seems buggy, that's why.

This mod adds a convenient method of teleportation available already pre-Hardmode.

Say goodbye to wiring teleporters together - this mod adds an item that can connect to any placed Transporter tiles and teleport you to them instantaneously! The Transporter Key can cycle through Transporters on the fly, see details below and in the tooltip. (Batteries not included.)


NEW: Added custom labels to each transporter. Now you can name and select all your transporters by opening the Transporter menu via a hotkey for easy identification!





Hint: to get started with crafting these items, search for crashed transportation units and ask the Guide about Martian Conduit Platings.


It currently adds the following content:
-Transportation Core: a crafting station obtained from a crashed alien transportation unit. These spawn in your world randomly, with 1 or 2 located within the central 600 blocks in the cavern layer, and 1 or 2 located anywhere, depending on the world size.

-Transporter: a teleporter-type of item with unlimited range and no wiring. They are labelled each with a number, with the numbers assigned by their world position in ascending order from left to right.

-Transporter Key: an item that allows you to teleport to any Transporters currently placed in the world. Right-click to cycle through the Transporters and left-click to teleport. (In case placing the Transporters fails to update them correctly, right-click the Key in your inventory.)

This mod allows the player to trade between Parts and Items by right-clicking a Part Booth furniture.

Parts are small coin-like tokens that can be obtained by either destroying one or more items into Parts or from random Drops from monsters. Don't worry about inventory space, as parts will be auto picked-up into a special player inventory.
You can still get the item Part by clicking on the Part Bank section of the Part Booth menu.
Almost all items that cannot be crafted can be obtained by spending Parts, including Boss (and enemy) drops, materials like blocks woods and plants and even seasonal items (halloween and Christmas)

Future plans include Thorium and Calamity mod support.

Tons of Swords is a mod for... well swords!

Currently it only adds two new subclasses: Throwing Swords and Accessory Swords.
What are accessory swords you might ask?
Accessory Swords are basically minions that do melee damage.
The only limit are your accessory slots!
There are also a few other weapons too.

It also turns the broken hero sword into a powerful shortsword!
Who knew it would make great for a shank?

This mod adds a new type of sword: Longswords.
The name speaks for itself!

It also adds more emblems for melee only.
Why not any other class?
Well swords of course!

All weapons in this mod are currently obtainable.

For now the merchant is where it all starts!
He sells a new item.
It is a bag that you can get throwing knives from which is used in crafting most throwing swords.

Make sure to get the ice shard first, it is the weakest throwing sword and is the only one not crafted with throwing knives!
