World Expansion: The Terraria Mod

Terraria usually sets the boundaries of your map around 20 blocks before the very edge, making it painful to reach those impossible treasure chests or other things, such as finishing world-length-long builds or massive ocean structures. This mod allows you to access parts outside of your world that you couldn't before!

World Expander will expand your world to the very edge of your playable map, including extra height in Space and deeper in the Underworld.
World Contractor reduces your world back to normal size, but your blocks will remain saved for the next time you wish to visit your expansion.

Survivaria is a unique mod that adds in multiple new survival mechanics, tons of new items and more.

Features:

Hunger - One of the 2 main resources in the mod, decreases slowly over time and gives increasing negative effects as it gets lower. The better food you eat the more hunger it will restore and the better bonuses you recieve.

Thirst - The other main resource in the mod, also decreases slowly overtime and faster in hot environments, also gives more negative effects as it gets lower. Drinking more revitalizing drinks keeps you refreshed for longer and gives better effects.

New food items - Over 100+ new foods and drinks to eat, the more time you spend making better meals the better the bonuses are. Don't slack on your diet!

New crafing stations and survival items - A handful of new stations which assist in creating better food. Also don't forget your handy survival items that assist you in many ways!

1) Added the Blood Analyzer and the Hydrolyzer Crystals, sold by the goblin tinkerer and skeleton merchant respectively.

4) Changed the hunger and thirst drain multipliers to be floats, allowing it to go from x0-x3 instead of number values.

Reduces crafting material cost to 35% (rounded up). Affects everything in the base game, with a few exceptions to avoid silliness. This does include both ore-to-bars and bars-to-equipment.

Does NOT affect other mods' recipes (though base-game bar types etc will be cheaper to smelt).

Example: Full iron armor + pickaxe + sword
Base game: 95 bars, from 285 iron ore (3 per bar)
This mod: 35 bars, from 70 iron ore (2 per bar)

This mod adds a new NPC: The gambler, who sells different "money chests", that can be opened for gold. The amount is random, and while you can win big, it averages out as slightly less than you paid.
It's a hell of a risk, but the higher level boxes can contain a little bit more than just mere coin.

Bugs:
The mod's torches might bug if placed underwater. The Void Digger literally breaks apart in multiplayer.
Using whips or throwing rush on multiplayer might cause lag.
Using it with other content/game changing mods might cause trouble, the mod is very early in the making and still has some uncompatible code.
(PD: Thrower's celestial fragment is being changed from fractal fragments to time fragments. Ranger's sub-class rocketeer is being changed to arsonist, missiles will be turned into regular rockets eventually, sounds and hopefully a new track for britzz are also coming soon. An update is coming soon for fixing and readding dashing accessories!)

-Melee Guard Mechanic- (Slight seizure warning, check visuals in configuration)
After striking with melee weapons while being near the enemy, the player will change colors and gain damage reduction as well as knockback immunity until it fades out, with a maximum of three seconds.

-Throwing Rush Mechanic- (Extra whoosh)
Activated with a hotkey selected in controls, when holding a throwing weapon a small meter will appear and start to fill, pressing the selected key when it's full will activate the rush, briefly increasing throwing velocity and critical chance.After the rush depletes, a rush recoil debuff will be aplied.

-Extracts Mechanic- (Im'sushi smh)
Activated with the Investigation plan, extracts are dropped by enemies on their respective biomes and are used to craft materials or loot, in an archeology table, that aren't unlimited otherwise. If turned off, enemies and critters will drop extra copper coins instead.

-Double click Attack overload and Muscle cramp Mechanic-
While holding both action buttons the player will get 15% extra damage, 25% faster item use and 15% extra movement speed.
Doing so for too long will put you at the risk of having a muscle crump that will reduce damage by 10%, slitghly reduce life regeneration and prevent the use of attack overload.

-Hero Mode Difficulty- "Follow the right path"
Only toggleable with expert mode enabled.
Rises monsters' stats, doesn't change any vanilla AIs (compatible with other mods' gamemodes).
Taking high quantities of damage will inflict fracture into the player, reducing movement speed and health regeneration.

-Thermic Mode- "It's either too hot or too cold"
The player will be inflicted with debuffs depending on the biome and the time, only while their health or defense is low depending on the world's progression state:
Being exposed to high temperatures for too long will cause Insolation to the player, that will produce confusion and burning.
Being exposed to low temperatures for too long will cause Hypothermia to the player, that will produce coldness and freezing.
Being near the Jungle or glowing mushrooms for too long will cause an Allergy to the player, that will produce sneezing and cough.
The player will lose insolation if on water or frozen. Can be treated with an Endopill.
The player will lose hypothermia if near a campfire or on fire. Can be treated with an Exopill.
The player will sometimes lose their allergy if hit. Can be treated with a Herb infusion.

-Heartache Mode- "It hurts to hurt"
Defeated enemies will drop debuffing pickups that decrease different stats depending on the tool or weapon held and the current world progression state.
Landing critical strikes will also make enemies drop debuffing picku

DarkLight

This mod aims to add random useful items and features to the game. It'll be mostly items or features that give some kind of QoL improvement.

Adds Shovels, a new tool type that can dig soft soils very quickly, notably they can dig all grass types in one hit.
Adds Tool Prefixes, these have a 33% chance of being applied to any pickaxe, axe, hammer or shovel.

Champion Mod is a small community made project meant to make Terraria more interesting. Currently it has a slow production but is seen as a labor of love from the small team involved in its development. It would be the team's dream to expand our horizons and recruit any new people willing to help out. My gosh you guys are amazing. Beyond that. I said I would make a major update for 1,000 downloads. Then you guys decided to bring that up to 2,000! I honestly have no words... Other than thank you so much! As a thank you I added I think 20+ items! I also nerfed the ever so overpowered Galactite Armor to be fair. I also went all the way and added a custom boss. It is unfinished until I figure out how to make it underworld only. But for right now enjoy the ez kills on it.
I also added in a pet alien which is crafted by the new ore I also added. That ore requires the new (unsprited) pickaxe. The Alien Anvil is currently useless but I feel it will give you time to guess what will be added next. Along with all this other stuff I mentioned I also made a new ammo. It can be used by the Galactite Blasters. Try it out for yourself! Next, I added recipes for some hard to get items. It also makes Zombie Arms useful again! Hopefully you enjoy this kinda massive update!

In case you thought this update would be 100+ items added you need to remember I only work on this about an hour a day because I have other things to do ya know!

Obtaining Galactite ore is easy enough. Just grab a hellstone pickaxe and get to mining away at the giant meteors crashed around the world! Sometimes they float in mid-air because they are alien related! (AKA I don't know how to make them stay underground) The other "Ore" Alien Fossils are collected by using the poorly sprited Galactite Pickaxe. It currently is only useful for making the Alien pet. Oh yeah I also fixed the small world problem so you can make worlds as large as you like!
